Important Information

We do our best to provide you with a service that will give you what you need with the least stress possible. With that in mind, we feel that clarity is essential. So we have a list of basic expectations, so we all understand one another. We will alter this list as the need arises and notify all of our clients of the changes. But the fewer misunderstandings there are, the better. As always, your recommendations for adjustments to this list are welcome.

The List

1) A bid is not a contract. Bids are given over the phone, or when standing at a job site, or in general conversation. A contract is a document reviewed by both parties and signed stipulating what exactly will be done and for what amount. We will honor all contracts. Bids may be altered if new information comes to light or if negotiations dictate. Bids will only be enforced when converted to contracts signed by both represented parties.

2) General office cleaning is not highly detailed, technical, or intensive. This will be included in every contract but it bears repeating. As a general example, a toilet with solid waste standing in it is unsanitary, but not outside the realm of general office cleaning. However any toilet with standing waste in it that cannot be removed with a cursory flushing or a simple plunging is a clogged drain at the inlet. That becomes technical and intensive. Work requiring professional intervention will be reported to the point of contact will be reported to you as soon as possible and will be skipped. No adjustment to the bill will be made unless arrangements have been made and signed by appropriate representatives of both parties through the use of a purchase order in advance.

3) Hazardous conditions are always a possibility, especially in winter. We will do our best to manage them without interference. However, in the event of snowfall in excess of 5 inches, phone calls will be made to all points of contact to confirm whether they wish for services to be performed in spite of the weather. If you choose to cancel services for the day, you will not be billed for that service date. If you maintain your need for services for the day, a surcharge will be reviewed during the phone call and applied to your next bill appropriate to the nature of the event. If the State of Michigan issues an emergency situation an forbids road travel, we will inform you as soon as possible, we will cancel the service for the day, and you will not be billed for that service date.

4) For general cleaning, we use Lysol disinfectant solution for all surfaces, Lysol toilet bowl cleaner, Windex for Glass, Mirror, and high-polish surfaces. Any change in the cleaning chemicals used, will be honored if it is specifically requested in the contract and supplied by you.

5) Due to the risk of cross contamination and the spread of disease, We insist that each location have at least one toilet brush that is specific to that location. If you do not have one, we will provide them at $10 each for as many as you wish and they will be left at your facility to use for future cleanings.

6) We are happy to serve you in whatever way possible, to the extent that we can and to the extent that it legally falls within the scope of work that we are contracted and licensed to perform. Some requests we may have the ability to fulfill but not the legal authority to fulfill. If we notice that a request requires specific steps be taken to be in compliance with state law, we will bring these to your attention, as well as offer solutions that will satisfy the legal requirements. If we cannot legally fulfill a scope of work, regardless of how simple the task may be, we will decline the request.
